Close Siblings

Having 2 small children that are so close in age can be really difficult at times. They both demand so much of your attention and fight for it at the same time as the other. They both still need so much and it's impossible to give it to them both at the same time - all of the time. It's exhausting even trying to. We knew it would be difficult, but the challenge of having them so close together has definitely been more of an up hill battle than we perhaps anticipated. We had them close together for a reason though... we wanted them to grow together and hopefully have a close relationship. 

I get the feeling that we're not far away from something really special. I get the feeling that we're not far away from the dynamics changing quite dramatically. They're growing so fast. Take a look at these photos...

I get the feeling that they might just be fighting for eachothers attention a little bit more, and our attention a little bit less in the not so distant future. And that? Well that's what we were hoping for when we planned to have Alice so soon after Clayton had graced us with his presence. I'm hoping that photos like these are just a small window into what the future is going to hold for our little duo.
