Baker Days Letterbox Cake - Review
28/03/2015 23:12Cake makes me smile. It makes all sane, non diabetic people smile. When I heard that you have a personalised, handmade cake delivered to your door that you didn't need to wait in for because it fit through your letterbox... I jumped at the chance of receiving one! I love getting mail that isn't another bill or someone trying to sell me something, and this was a package that made my day. Imagine a box that just slides through your letterbox. Imagine opening that box and finding a decorative tin. Imagine opening that tin and finding a cake!
You really cannot fault Baker Days on their packaging and presentation skills. The tin is nice enough to re-use and it even came with a gift card should you wish to forward the cake on to make someone elses day instead (NB. I don't advocate giving cake away once in your possession). My cake was a chocolate sponge with decorative icing that was personalised to wish my 2 children a Happy Easter. The options for your cake though are extensive! Prefer vanilla to chocolate? Not a problem. Celebrating a birthday, anniversary or new job instead of Easter? That's not an issue either. Want to see your own face printed right onto the cake? Easy. You're going to have to try harder if you want to challenge the design team at Baker Days!
Starting from as little as £14.99 you too can be as creative as you want and have a cake pushed through your letterbox to sweeten the blow of the bills and card statements that land on your doormat with it.
Note - I was sent this cake by Baker Days in return for this review. All words are my own and opinions honest however.
