Valentine's Day thoughts

I'm not a fan of Valentines Day. I like the idea of celebrating love, I just don't like the commercial drive behind celebrating love just one day of the year. I buy gifts and flowers for my wife all year long and try and be spontaneous in my approach; catching her off guard rather than buying on a day she might expect to receive. Not only that but I buy gifts for my children and specifically flowers for my daughter. Just because my daughter is about to turn 7 months old and knows nothing about giving and receiving, doesn't mean she shouldn't be the recipient of flowers. My daughter will learn her value and her self worth through her Daddy. I made sure I started teaching those lessons to her before she was even born. Love the women in your life. I love mine.
