Dad In Training

Kiddylicious Review and Giveaway

26/10/2014 15:25

We love the Kiddylicious brand in our house; we genuinely do. In fact, all 4 of us just love eating in general to be honest, but Clayton is a fiend for finger foods and the Kiddylicious range suits him down to the ground. Just lately, as he makes the transition deeper towards being a fully fledged toddler, he has been on strike with fruit and vegetables (we stand no chance in the future at this rate!) and this range of snakcs really helps us overcome that. Each snack bag contains 1 of your childs 5 a day and they don't even realise. They think it's a tasty treat and in fact they're eating fruit without the additives and without the sugar. You really wouldn't know either - even as a Dad, I grab them to take to work as a convenience snack. We were clearly already sold on the brand but were pleased when they sent us a selection of their fruit based snacks and found some treats that we were yet to try.

Kiddylicious Snack Range

Here's what we tried;

Apple Crisps - Real pieces of apple dried into a crisp. Much healthier than a potato crisp. Saved us peeling, coring and chopping an apple to toddler sized pieces. Perfect for on the go. We loved dipping these into yoghurt and you can see the fun that was had below!

Banana Bites - Real pieces of banana dried into a crisp. I love the taste of banana but hate the texture and our son is the same. These are the perfect solution! No slimy texture, no peel to slip on... just convenient banana goodness!

Fruit Wriggles - A fun snack. Fruit pureed and reformed as a string that we loved twirling round our fingers and swinging around before eating.

Smoothie Melts - Melt on your tongue fruit smoothies. Clayton didn't like how they felt in his mouth but I loved them! More for me!

Child Eating

We honestly haven't yet tried a Kiddylicious product that we haven't enjoyed and that's a rareity as far as healthy snack go in my experience. We were glad to have our eyes opened to some of their range we hadn't yet tried and it's only made us hungrier for more. We always keep our eyes peeled in the supermarkets now looking for any other new additions we haven't yet sampled.

Child Messy Eating

All in all, I'm struggling to fault Kiddylicious and because of that, I'm inviting you to get in on the fruity action too! Noone ever says no to free food do they? How would you like to win a hamper full of Kiddylicious goodies worth 20GBP? That's right - free food! Enter now to be in with a chance. Good luck!

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS NOW ENDED.

Disclosure - We were sent these products to review by Kiddylicous UK. All photo's and opinions are however my own and honest. The competition is open to UK residents only. The winner will be notified by email and will have 10 days to claim their prize, which will be supplied by Kiddylicious UK.

Great idea! See it as a life lesson for them. You're giving, not taking!

I do...it's just easier to grab what's available and I usually buy healthy stuff for them vs. myself. Crazy, right?
